Books Read From My Shelves

Interesting Tidbits on the Web:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well the first week of August is in the books and it was an okay week. A lot going on in the office, a lot going on at home and not much reading done.  We finally made some progress on the house and I am one room closer to my full house purge (only 4 rooms left to go).   My Tome Topple hasn't been going great, as predicted The Kingmaking is a very dense read, it is one of those oversized paperbacks and the print is tiny. The story is interesting so far but I am only on page 62! I had hoped to read about 75-100 pages a day but that is definitely not happening with this book.  I am going to start shooting for 50 pages though and maybe when I hit half way I will take a break and pick up my other tome.
How was your first week in August?
  1. House purging can be so invigorating. Good luck finishing up. Did you purge books? Those are the hardest for me to part with.
    1. I actually started with the books because I knew they would be the hardest, and once that was done I would be okay with purging out a lot more stuff. I do think that once I am done with the purge I will have to got through and do it again because it is amazing how quickly things accumulate!
