~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow, I had quite a reading week last week! I wasn't expecting it to be such a great one with everything going on but the relaxed tone of the Dewey's Reverse Readathon on Friday night - Saturday really gave me the boost I needed.  Now I really need to get caught up on reviews! I have let that slide a little bit over the past couple of weeks.  I also had a sudden influx of emails from authors and publishers that I need to respond to (if you are waiting for a response please be patient I will do my best to respond to all messages this week).
In the mean time, I have a bunch more reading to get done over the next week or so and a lot of posts to schedule for while I am on vacation.  I have some really great plans for August for the blog and I hope it will keep you all entertained while I am away for a bit on a family vacation.
Now I have to get back to work to finish my big projects and files there so I can actually go on vacation!
  1. I feel like I can never catch up on my reviews, so I let them slide too. I'm glad you got to participate in some Dewey. I did the instagram thing, but I didn't actually participate in the readathon. When you cross off a book from the Books You've Added, does that mean you read them?
    1. I really hate looking at my goodreads page and seeing anywhere from 8 to 20 books on my currently reading shelf simply because I haven't written the reviews yet. Yup when I cross them off on this list it means that I have read them (on my monthly wrap ups or on the challenge page, I add links to the reviews once complete instead of crossing out). Once a month I will go and delete the ones crossed off on this list so it doesn't get so long and I can see what books I still need to read.
  2. You and Kami just simply read too much too fast. 😉 i have a hard time keeping up on reviews and I don’t read nearly as much as you guys. So I think you’re both doing great!
    Have fun on your vacation!
    1. Haha, it is a habit I can't seem to get out of, honestly all I want to do is read so I do. Thank you, hopefully I can spend a lot of time reading this trip (I have informed the family that I need time to read).
