After Dark Review of Falke's Captive by Madison Layle

I have added After Dark Reviews to my blog as a way of notifying you of a review of a book with Adult themes and scenes. From now on I will keep my reviews of all books I read that have explicit scenes in them for late night posts for those of you who prefer to avoid them or easy to find for those of you who seek them out ;)
Synopsis: "A graduate student working in animal genetics, Beth Coldwell is in town to track and tag big cats in the wild. Her prospects for the summer only improve when she meets Kelan and Reidar Falke and decides the sexy brothers are the right pair to fulfill her other, less than scientific, desires...
But her research is a threat to the Falke family secret. When Kelan, in cougar form, is captured, that secret comes closer than ever to being revealed. He escapes, but not before Beth draws a blood sample, and analysis shows this is no ordinary mountain lion.

Kelan and Reidar cannot deny the powerful attraction they feel toward Beth. She might just be their destined mate. But if they reveal themselves to her, will she embrace who they are or see them as just another science experiment?"

My Review: I enjoyed another adventure with the Falke family. Did I mention I am a sucker for big cat shape shifters?! It was very interesting to see how they handled a new threat, scientists. I liked Beth, though not as much as Dakota, and same with the boys, I prefer Gunner and Axel over Kelan & Reidar but they were fun to get to know. This storyline though seemed to have a lot more suspense, which I loved, you just didn't know what was going to happen. You wanted that happy but just don't know how they are going to get there.

My Rating: I was excited to keep reading this book, though I could put it down it was always hanging there in the back of my mind just waiting for me to pick it up again.  So I give it a rating of Three Paws and a Stump Wag!
