I have decided to add a new post to my list of things that could happen on the weekends. As part of my resolutions for 2015, I wanted to do more fun things with Munchkin and as a family. I will be posting sporadically about some of the fun adventures we are having together.
There has been this playground near us that I have been wanting to take Munchkin to for some time. It is run by a non profit and suited for kids from toddler all the way up through elementary age and kids of all abilities. It is called the Impossible Dream. We were finally able to go and meet with one of Munchkin's close friends from his old daycare. I guess it gets pretty busy but we lucked out, it was a cloudy day with rain potential so it was nearly empty. It was an awesome playground, they ask for a $2 donation for each kid but it is totally worth it.
It is all padded with a rubber mat, and they have bikes and cars for the kids to ride.
Lots of different play houses
Lots of slides of all sizes
Swings too
A pond full of fish to feed
And so much more! There is a mini golf course and a train that runs from time to time. The also rent it out for birthday parties. It really was a lot of fun and had tons of room for getting all that little kid energy out.
In the end it is all about the smiles
