My Review: After absolutely loving the first volume I had to immediately track down this volume. I have to say I was a little disappointed, I felt like the issues in this volume took a really odd turn to make them come out the way someone wanted. While I still enjoyed Frankenstein and his fellow Agents the story took a much larger role as opposed to the characters and I didn't connect as well with them. The storyline itself also felt a little scattered compared to the first volume. All in all it did not turn out how I would have liked nor was it anywhere as good as the first.

My Rating: It really is too bad this didn't stay on level as the first volume. That said maybe others would enjoy it more. I give it a rating of Two Paws.
Hummm... I am loving the new 52 and didn't know there was a Frankenstein series! I am going to hunt these down myself. Too bad you didn't love volume 2 like you did vol1. That happens. Will you continue on with the series??
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know there are only the two Volumes in this series which is a shame, because I love the characters, Father Time cracks me up. I have been finding the second volume is a let down a lot of the time (it happened with the Northlanders too). I haven't been into graphic novels for long but I do really enjoy the new 52.
