Christmas Fun Day 5: Making Cards

Hello and Happy Holiday season everyone! In addition to my Advent Reads event this holiday season, I thought I would post earlier in the day with different things we do each day to have fun and celebrate this season. I hope you will join us and also maybe share some of your own traditions or ways you celebrate.

I have finally started expanding my crafting into actual useful items, one of those being Christmas cards! I have been loving the creative outlet and wish I had at least 10 more hours in each day so I could just create all the Christmas cards I have imagined up! So far most of the cards I have made have been for Bazaar booths and for charity baskets but I hope to sit down and make at least a few more cards to send out myself.

Here are a few I have already made this year
This was my first attempt at a shaker card, I have learned a thing or two since then and will be attempting one again soon!

These are all spinner dies, where the center ornament is matching front and back and spins when you open the window.

These were made for a charity raffle basket, I finally got to really use my die cutting tools, and am getting better at centering the layers.

I love how these came out with their dimension and colors

I saw some similar cards on a video on youtube a year or two ago and finally made an attempt at making them (and experimenting with the sentiment)

I finally got my first copic markers and had a lot of fun playing with coloring and shading.

I have a little bit of an obsession with snowmen and am so thrilled to start being able to use the massive amount of stamps I have accumulated.

I am insanely in love with Wellington bear and these diecut sets pop the image out. Unfortunately he is rather difficult to find in the states and most of the items I have I ordered from over seas. I especially love the bottom left one.

Have you made your own cards? Do you usually send out all matching Christmas cards or do you try to find unique ones for each person?
