Bedtime Story: Let's Go for a Drive by Mo Willems

Read for: Children's Book Challenge

Synopsis: "Gerald is careful. Piggie is not.
Piggie cannot help smiling. Gerald can.
Gerald worries so that Piggie does not have to.
Gerald and Piggie are best friends.
In Let's Go for a Drive Gerald and Piggie want to hit the road. But the best-laid plans of pigs and elephants often go awry."

My Review: This was the perfect book to read during our trip. Gerald is so much like me and it made Munchkin laugh when he would point this out. This is another great Elephant and Piggie book to build on the first one that we already love. The story is simple, fun and silly and it is also easy to add in personality and voices. We had a lot of fun reading this and introducing Elephant and Piggie to my little nieces as well.

My Rating: This was another fun Gerald and Piggie book, Munchkin really had fun with it. We give it a rating of Four Paws!

Good Night! Sweet Dreams!

  1. My daughter LOVES Mo Willems books. We have all the Pigeon books, and own a lot of Elephant and Piggie ones too. We hope to own all of them some day.

    1. I just don't know how long it took me so long to read these books. We don't have any of the Pigeon books (honestly the eye thing really creeps me out) but we will definitely be tracking down all of the Elephant and Piggie Books!
