Bedtime Story: No Two Alike by Keith Baker

Read for: Children's Book Challenge

Synopsis: "No two snowflakes are alike,
almost, almost . . .
but not quite.

Follow a pair of birds on a snowflake-filled journey though a gorgeous winter landscape to explore how everything, everywhere is wonderfully unique--from branches and leaves to forests and trees to friends and loved ones."

My Review: This book has a beautiful message about how no two things are alike. While I agree with how it is presented, using snowflakes, nests, creatures and houses, the main message wasn't repeated enough to create an understanding for younger readers. It will be better as Munchkin gets older but right now he simply repeats the words without grasping what I am reading to him.

My Rating: It is a meaningful message just not executed in a way that will stick with young minds.  I give it a rating of Two Paws and a Stump Wag.
