I really had high hopes for August, with a 2 week vacation and having informed family and friends I wanted a lot of reading time, it still didn't work out well for me. The vast majority of my reading this month was audio books and children's books to work around busy packing and traveling. 1. Read Less Books: I read exactly the same amount I read last year which surprises me because it was not a great reading month at all - CHECK
2. Be More aware while reading: I didn't do as great with that this month, I only made notes on one book but it is better than nothing- CHECK
3. Read More Chunky Books (12 books over 450 pages in 2018): Despite major reading plans for August, I only read 1 book over 450 pages, but again 1 is something!- CHECK
4. Use Library & Overdrive more: I am getting better at this and borrowed several books this month from the Library and so did Munchkin- CHECK

I did really bad sticking with my TBRs and challenge/readathons in August and I have so much more reading to get done in September! I have the Boston Teen Author Festival, Banned Book Week and a lot of catching up to do on chores and work, so while I have big TBR I am expecting to not get it all read and they will most likely be audiobooks again.
