My Review: This has been a highly anticipated book of my after reading Poston's Geekerella last year and loving it. I was a little hesitant though since I have often struggled with Sci-fi books, but I am familiar with the story of Anastasia. I did enjoy the action and characters in this story but once again I struggled with picturing the sci-fi elements, the worlds or space stations are just beyond my imagination. With that said I really became attached to the characters and loved their story lines. I particularly loved Jax! It was a good read, and I am sure it will appeal even more to other readers. I think an audiobook version would be a great listen.
My Rating: While I did really struggle with picturing the setting and ships in my mind, I definitely became invested in the characters. I give it a rating of Three Paws.

DeleteWoah! That’s quite the jump in genres. I’ll have to try this one out of complete curiosity.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it is a bit of a jump, but when you think about the fact that Geekerella revolved around a Sci-Fi fandom, it doesn't seem as far off.
