My Review (May 25, 2012): I love this book, I read it a few years ago and enjoyed it so much I had to go buy the rest of the series. I just re-read it to get ready for the rest of the Daughters of the Glen books. The characters are great and you can help but fall in love with them. I am really interested in what Cate's family does, hope that is included in the rest of the series. So as you can tell even the sub-characters are great. The only thing that is stretching it a little is the fact that everyone seems to adjust to the time changes a little too easily, but its a minor thing when the rest of the story is moving along so well. I loved the ending as well, kind of surprises you a bit.

My Re-Read Review: Once again I am re-reading this book in an attempt to read the whole series. This book was just as thrilling and engrossing as the first two times reading it. I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters, Cate and Connor had a fun back and forth, all the sub-characters were interesting and added to the storyline. The book moves along fairly quickly with a few lulls, but the ending is worth any slow periods in the book. I absolutely love the twist of an ending. This is definitely a great book for fantasy romance or historical romance lovers. It is a fun book to read.

My Rating: I really enjoyed this book yet again, it is hard to find a book that you can read three times within less than 10 years and still enjoy every time.  I can't help but give it a rating of Four Paws and a Stump Wag!

  1. I haven't heard of this one or the series. It sounds great. A book you can just keep reading and enjoying with great sub characters as well as MCs wins in my book!

    1. I have had all the books in this series for a couple of years now, and I don't know why I haven't finished it yet. I have read the first book three times now and the second book twice and they are both really good. It is an interesting combination of fantasy, and historical romance.
