Waiting on Wednesday - #2

Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
My Pick:

Hit List (book 20 of the Anita Blake Series) by Laurell K. Hamilton

Synopsis from Barnes & Noble : "Word has leaked to Anita Blake that hit men are headed for St. Louis- and that she, Jean-Claude, and Richard are the targets."

You better believe I am downloading this on my Nook the Day it comes out & reading it all day!!

  1. I'm on book number two...This series needs to stop getting longer or I'll be a very old woman before I get to the last book of the series.

Always wondered if the book gets repetitive, I'm sure it does, seeing as there is 20 books! Must be a lot of dedicated fans out there to, to keep reading the series after 10 books.

    Here is my WoW, http://miss-check-out.blogspot.com/2011/05/waiting-on-wednesday-3.html

    Have a nice day!

  2. Catherine, it is worth the reading! It does get a little repetitive, especially with having to describe all the characters and their relationships in each book, so I have started to skim those parts. Hamilton adds more characters to each book and I love the characters you encounter in later books so I encourage you to keep reading.

I Also suggest her Merry Gentry series, its much shorter and I love the characters just as much.

    Thank you for stopping by!

  3. I am embarrassed to say I have never really been able to get into Laurell K Hamilton. I don't know why and I should give her another chance. I guess I prefer Charlaine Harris and Mary Janice Davidson.

  5. Angie, so people can't get into her but I really enjoy the way it feels like it could be real when I am reading her books. I have yet to read any Harris or Davidson maybe some time soon.

It seems to get more exciting the longer you wait for a book doesn't it Jenny?!

Thank you both for stopping by my WOW
