Booking through Thursday is a weekly event hosted by Deb at BTT
This weeks Question is:
And–the reverse of last week’s question. Name one book that you hope never, ever, ever gets made into a movie (no matter how good that movie might be).
This is much more difficult than last week's question, being as the movies I would not want turned into movies already have been.
Of the books I have recently read I think the one I wouldn't want made into a movie would be Pegasus by Robin McKinley. No matter how fantastic the effects are in the movie I don't think it could ever live up to my image. Also it would be so difficult to portray the mind speak that Sylvi & Ebon use as well as the horse language itself. If it did happen to though, I would be so horribly disappointed that the Pegasi don't really exist. I would be crushed.
How about you?
Lol. Nice answer. I have read Sunshine by Robin McKinley and loved it but not this one. Maybe I should give it a go.

I haven't read Pegasus yet, but I take it as a high praise that you don't want it made into a movie. Usually if I don't want a book made into a movie it's because I think too highly of the book.
ReplyDelete@ Sally - I haven't read Sunshine yet, but I do plan on reading more of McKinley's books.
ReplyDelete@ Jenny - It is definately high praise, the descriptions she uses brings everything to life.
Thank you both for stopping by <3
