Glance Back at 2018 Purchases

As you may know, for the past two years (and this year as well) I have been tracking my book purchases and whether I read them or not.  As of the end of last year I had 89 books that I had purchased in 2018 but hadn't read yet.  I have been working really hard on reading books as they come in this year as well as focusing on the books I have purchased in the past 2 years.  So I thought being that we are just over a quarter of the way through the year I would do a status check on the books purchased in 2018.  You can see the full list of 219 books I purchased last year in my year end wrap up but for now I am just going to list the books I hadn't read yet.

Wow, I am actually really happy with the progress I have made on this list! I have already read 16 of the books on this list and DNFed or Unhauled 8 books!  So I am already down to 65 books on this list left to read, and I think so far this year I have 22 recently added books to read. I feel like these are doable numbers. Hopefully I can keep this momentum rolling and at the halfway point of this year I can have an updated of all 2017, 2018 and 2019 books purchased.

Do you read books as soon as they come in or do you find that a lot of them sit on the shelves for a year or more?
